Hi👋! Welcome to my personal website!

I am Pierre, PhD candidate at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, Santiago, Chile. I am also Technology Fellow with LIBRE Hub Project at Institute for Biological and Medical Engineering and Associate Researcher at Health Innovation Lab from the Institute of Tropical Medicine Alexander von Humboldt, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. I earned a Master in Biomedical Informatics from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and my B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. I have teaching experience in rapid prototyping and open-source bioinstrumentation.

My research interest includes microbiome analysis using open-source hardware and microfluidics.
